Standing quietly before the ancient peaks of Queensland's Glass House Mountains, she is neither visitor nor conqueror, but a presence woven into the landscape itself. Rooted in stillness, she embodies the quiet confidence that comes from belonging, reminding us that true strength is found not in standing above nature, but in standing with it.
Bathed in the soft light of dawn, the landscape becomes a place of reflection, where earth, sky, and spirit exist in harmony. Her flowing dress echoes the colours of the land, while the Flower of Life, subtly incorporated into the foreground, symbolises our enduring connection to all living things.
Part of my Sole Witness Collection, this mixed media and oil painting explores feminine resilience, presence, and our relationship with the natural world. It invites the viewer to pause, breathe deeply, and experience the quiet power that exists when we feel completely at one with the landscape around us.
